Elodia M. Dominguez
About
Elodia embodied the spirit of hard work, determination, and service throughout her remarkable 86 years.

Born on February 19, 1939, in Alpine, Texas, she learned early the values of perseverance, compassion, and community—values that shaped every chapter of her life.
Her leadership emerged early at Royal Park, Inc. in 1975, where she managed staff with patience, strength, and a natural ability to bring out the best in others.
Her entrepreneurial spirit later shined even brighter when she owned and operated the Burrito Inn. There, she poured her heart into every meal and welcomed each customer like family. The long hours, early mornings, and constant care she invested in her restaurant reflected the same qualities that define exceptional CNAs—reliable dedication, service to others, and unwavering compassion.

After closing that chapter, Elodia continued her life of service as a House Mother at the Concho Valley Home for Girls, where she provided guidance, stability, and warmth to young women in need of support. She gave not only her time, but her heart.

Elodia’s legacy is one of strength through service, faith expressed through action, and love demonstrated in everyday work. She showed that when hard work is fueled by compassion and purpose, it becomes a gift to the world.

This memorial scholarship honors her lifelong commitment to helping others. By supporting aspiring CNAs, her spirit of care lives on—encouraging the next generation of caregivers to pursue their calling with the same dedication, resilience, and heart that defined her life.
